April 29, 2020

Sitting here with an actual cappuccino, albeit a decaf one. Whatever happened on Monday, the very fine grind of the replacement espresso I bought was clearly the culprit. If I want to get some actual caffeine in my system I’m going to have to be a pandemic doofus and go to the shop soon to buy just one thing. So be it.

I had big plans for today. I was going to start writing a multipart entry about my involvement in the Greenpeace UK anti-incineration campaign in the early 2000s. I had the first several sentences at least written in my head before I went to sleep last night.

After I got up this morning I realised I was going to have to do some research to remind me of various details. Said research took longer than I thought. (Haven’t finished it yet.) And now it’s gone noon and I have things to do. Maybe I’ll start tomorrow. Maybe not.

In the meantime, here’s my new favourite pandemic parody.
