Death to 2020!
Seriously, if you have Netflix and you haven’t already, watch this fabulous mockumentary. I’ve long been a Charlie Brooker (Black Mirror) fan and he certainly doesn’t disappoint.
It was the perfect way to say goodbye to 2020 last night. (It was so good I might even watch it again tonight.)
Normally all you have to say to me is “Samuel L. Jackson” and I’m in. And he is great, but I had more laugh-out-loud moments with Hugh Grant’s historian. Kudos, too, to Lisa Kudrow’s perfect Republican mouthpiece. Actually, I loved everyone in it.
Perhaps most fascinating was being reminded of January 2020.
Australia on fire! Wankmaggot impeached! Harry and Megan buggering off!
Remember that? God, was that really only 12 months ago?
It would be lovely to think that today does mark the end of 2020, but, as I’ve said before, 2020 is likely to take up most if not all of 2021. If we can’t actually bin 2020, at least we can (try to) laugh at it.
