Let’s ‘ave another go
Okay, it’s the first day of September and I swore this was going to be the day, but now I find myself with precious little time. I need to have a shower and be somewhere in an hour (oh, that rhymes), so short and sweet is the rule for today.
Two posts in July and not a single one in August, which begs the question: How can someone who is not writing call herself a writer? Well, she can’t really, can she? And that’s no good. One needs something to which one can cling, especially now that the days are getting noticeably shorter. So I really need to be writing something. Every day. Even if it’s only for fifteen minutes.
Yes, that’s right. It’s time to start the six-week challenge again. Something – anything – written every day for forty-two days. That’s why I picked September first. Easy to keep track, as there are only thirty days in the month, so at the end of the month I have twelve days left to go. Well, it makes sense to me.
It was another thirty day month when I first set myself this challenge: November 1, 2016, the day I began the black dog diary. I managed to meet the challenge then. Can I meet it again? Time will tell.
Some encouragement would be nice. Anyone out there who’d like to start hearing from me every day again? That’s what the comments section is for. Let me know.
And now I really have to get in the shower. See you tomorrow.
I look forward to more posts. Thank you Anne.
Thanks, Caroline!
Yay – you’re back! Always enjoy your writing and have missed it lately. Go for it – I’ll be reading.
