In the run up to the 2005 general election in the UK, Labour were expected to win a third term, despite Blair’s increasing unpopularity following the invasion of Iraq. The Tories, under their third leader in as many elections, tried a new strategy. They started saying that, “if you elect Blair, you’ll get Brown”. The idea being that the Prime Minister was likely to step down after the election in favour of his Chancellor. The strategy was a failure, because the public’s reaction was generally, “Really? Do you promise? I’m fed up with that wanker Blair, but if I’m really voting for Brown, then I’ll give Labour another vote.” And so it came to pass.

Okay, this is going to be short and not so sweet.

Dear Democratic politicians and liberal media,

It may already be too late now, but here’s what you need to do.

Stop shitting your pants about Joe Biden’s debate performance. Shut the hell up, get 100% behind him and win the fucking election. You know if you do that you’ll get President Harris next spring after Biden steps down. Sheesh. Why are you always so determined to shoot yourself in the foot or the face or wherever?

All you’re doing with this pearl clutching is taking the focus away from that lying Republican turd and increasing the already alarming odds that the Wankmaggot will get into the White House again, at which point Project 2025 will kick in and it will be end of your democracy. And if that happens, it will be your fault.
