Buckets

This is how much water I have to wash (myself and dishes) and flush the toilet until next Friday, the earliest day there is likely to be a thaw.

Not that I’m complaining. There are plenty of people around the world who would be happy to have this much water to last them five days. And the dishwater can be used to flush the toilet.

A shower last night at my friend Jean’s. Suspect I will be back at her place in a couple of days.

In the meantime, I wouldn’t mind seeing some more snow. A fair old bit, actually. Would be nice to get another bucket or two of melted snow to top things up.

Oh, well, heading off island in a bit to go to see a play. I’m sure the theatre will have toilets that flush. Right?
