Thanks to my mate Ray for filming and editing, Ruby Red Lipstick is now tucked away on YouTube.

Turned out to be more complicated than he’d expected. Somehow, without either of us noticing, the night Ray was filming, Ben said Augustine was in heaven, not hell. Kinda killed the joke. Fortunately I had actually saved one of the rehearsals we’d filmed – one from late May which was the first time we got it absolutely right – and Augustine was definitely in hell that time. So a bit of dubbing was needed to put the bastard back where he belonged.

I also discovered the night of the filming that what I had thought was Ben being all gentlemanly and indicating that I should exit first was actually him getting me out of the way so he could take a bit of revenge on the costume he hated. It’s pretty funny.
